Luc Burgun

CEO and President

Dr. Luc Burgun is President and CEO of EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, and President of the supervisory board of Cofluent, a leader in ESL specification. Co-founder of EVE, Luc has about 20 years of experience in EDA, where he held engineering and executive positions. Prior to founding EVE, Luc Burgun headed the R&D team of Meta Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mentor Graphics, specialized in hardware emulation systems. He has published numerous articles at international technical conferences and has been granted six patents on accelerated verification. Luc Burgun holds a Ph.D degree in Logic Synthesis from the University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France.

William Addi

William Addi

CFO

William Addi has served as CFO at companies in the software Application Service Provider (ASP) and in the retail industries, managing revenues in the hundreds of million dollars. Addi started his career as a senior audit manager at KPMG in Los Angeles, Lyon and Paris, France, and has worked at increasingly responsible international finance and management positions. Addi holds a master's degree in business administration from the Ecole de Management de Lyon, France (E.M. Lyon). He is a member of the French Board of Chartered Accountants (Expert Comptable et Commissaire aux Comptes) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California.

Christophe Ballan

Christophe Ballan

Vice President of Worldwide Operations

Prior to joining EVE, Christophe worked for ENEA, provider of embedded software and services, where he most recently served as vice president of business development and previously as sales and operations manager for Europe and Asia. Previously, he worked as an organizational consultant and as the Central European sales manager for Wind River Systems, helping grow the business in Central Europe to a significant portion of the company's revenues. He was part of Wind River's management during its initial public offering (IPO). A graduate of École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (Paris Graduate School of Management) with a degree in international affairs, Ballan also attended Chuo University in Japan as an exchange student. He attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business-AEA Executive Program. Ballan is fluent in French, German, English and Japanese.

Lauro Rizzatti

Lauro Rizzatti

Vice President of Marketing, GM of EVE-USA

Dr. Lauro Rizzatti has more than 30 years of experience in the EDA and ATE industries, where he held responsibilities in management, product marketing, technical marketing, and engineering. Prior to joining EVE he held various positions in companies such as Get2Chip, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, Teradyne, Alcatel, and Italtel. Lauro has published several articles and technical papers in the trade press and has presented at numerous international technical conferences. Lauro holds a doctorate in Electronic Engineering from the Universita` degli Studi di Trieste, Italy.

Ludovic Larzul

Vice President of Engineering

Ludovic is one of the founders of EVE and has 13 years of experience in CAD development. He has worked on numerous projects including the integration between hardware emulators and popular software simulators, efficient interfaces based on transactors, communication between multiple emulation systems, system-level place and route etc... Ludovic holds a Diplome d'Ingenieur de l'Institut de Recherche et d'Enseignement Superieur aux Techniques de l'Electronique (Ecole Polytechnique de Nantes).

Ron Burns

Vice President of Sales

Burns has more than 20 years of experience in the EDA and Semiconductor companies. He has held executive positions at Wipro Technologies (General Manager), Teja Technologies (Vice President of WW Sales), Axis Systems (Vice President of Marketing), InTime Software (Vice President of Sales and Marketing), Forte Design Systems (Vice President of Sales), and Quickturn Design Systems (Area Sales Director). Previously, he had worked as regional sales manager at Silicon Compiler Systems (Mentor Graphics Corp.) and started his career as district sales manager at Harris CICD (Intersil). Burns holds an MBA from Santa Clara, CA, and a BS, EE, from the University of South Florida.

Miguel Koch

Vice President of Sales, Europe & Middle-East

Miguel Koch is a veteran of the EDA industry with 25 years of experience, 10 of which he spent in the hardware-assisted verification segment. Prior to EVE, Miguel was vice president of worldwide sales at ProDesign, vice president of European sales at Aptix, and Central Europe sales director at IKOS. He prides himself on an impressive track record selling emulation and rapid prototyping solutions. Miguel holds a EE degree, a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in computer sciences from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.

Hiroyuki Iseri has more than 20 years experience of sales and management in the EDA industry. Iseri started his career at Mentor Graphics, and as an Account Manager and Sales Manager, gained experienced with a wide variety of EDA tools, such as ESL, Digital & Analog Simulator, Hardware/Software co-simulation, Synthesis, DFT, Emulator, PCB, LVS/DRC and OPC.

Montu Makadia (Mak) has more than 13 Years of Sales and Business Development experience, working with top level EDA and Semiconductor Companies in India. His last engagement was at Perfectus Technology as Director Sales. Prior to that he managed sales operations and business development in the areas of Verification and Embedded Systems Product development for eInfochips in Bangalore. He also contributed in sales activities at CG-CoreEL Programmable Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Montu began his career as Sales Executive in the field of Intrumentation, offering products and services from Rockwell Automation, Fisher-Rosemount and Invensys in India.

Chae-Min Lee has more than 25 years of sales and management experience in the EDA industry. He previously occupied the positions of Sales Director at Cadence, Sales Manager at Synopsys, I&C, Microsystems, Anam Semiconductor Design, and AE at Daisy System. Chae-Min started his career as an R&D engineer at Samsung.
