Seasoned Executive Will Help EVE Set Pace for Next Level of Growth
Scott Hayashida today assumed the role of vice president of North America sales at EVE, supplier of the broadest selection of hardware-assisted verification solutions, including hardware description language (HDL) acceleration, fast emulation and easy prototyping. He reports to Keith Hopkins, vice president of worldwide sales, and will be part of EVE-USA's team based in San Jose, Calif.

As a senior sales executive in increasing responsible positions, Hayashida has worked for ARM (through the Artisan Components acquisition), Cadence Design Systems (through the Verplex acquisition) and Mentor Graphics Corp. Most recently, he was sales director at VisualOn Inc. Hayashida began his career as an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) verification engineer within Unisys' Semiconductor Division.
He also is co-inventor and holds the United States patent for: "Multiprocessor Data Processor System Having Non-symmetrical Interconnects." Hayashida holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
