EVE and Tensilica have collaborated to make SOC verification of Xtensa-based and Diamond-based SOCs as seamless as possible.
Tensilca Diamond RTL is synthesizable and easily compiled by the ZeBu software, and a special integration with Xplorer and xt-gdb software debuggers is available to interact with a design emulated in ZeBu at the transaction-level, enabling simultaneous hardware and software debugging.
Tensilica has used ZeBu emulators in the development of their Diamond hardware video engine and H.264 software video codec using transaction-based virtual emulation platform. Download the success story here.
