EVE provides off-the-shelf validation IP that allow you to quickly build a complete testbench.
For processor model support such as ARM logic tiles or core modules, visit our Embedded Processors Model section.
EVE's catalog of validation IP includes transactors for common protocols such as PCIe, USB 2.0, LCD, Ethernet, video displays, JTAG, etc... Transactors offer a standard Application Programming Interface (API) so you can quickly write C++ or SystemVerilog testbenches that generate interesting traffic.
EVE also offers in-circuit bridges when connecting to a physical device is required. Examples are PCI, USB 2.0 OTG, DVI video, JTAG pods, etc... The MultiMedia Board (MMB) is a convenient daughtercard that includes most interfaces needed by multimedia applications.
Because of ZeBu's high speed of emulation, at-speed interfaces are easier to hook-up than with traditional emulation systems.
EVE also offers off-the-shelf memory models for most standard memories such as SDRAM, DDR, DDR II, DDR3, RLDRAM and GDDR5. Those models work at the same speed as the DUT in emulation, eliminating any issue with timing or refresh cycles. Plus, they are configurable, so that the same emulation system can be dynamically reconfigured to look like an SDRAM or a DDR II depending on the design being emulated. No card needs to be plugged or unplugged to switch between models.

If you need to write your own custom transactor, you can use ZEMI-3, our behavioral SystemVerilog compiler that generates optimized, cycle-accurate, BFMs for transactors.
